Reason for Nomination	I was born on July 13, 1980. When I was 4 months old, a sister of mine carrying me on her back accidentally sat on my left leg while going out in a car. On arrival back home, it was discovered that a bone had broken in the leg and I was immediately taken to the hospital but unfortunately the doctor in charge did not perform his duties well enough. After several operations (4 or more) the bones did not seem to heal, and gradually it shrank to half its original size. Since then I have relied on a pair of shoulder crutches to move around. However, it has not been easy for me to walk around on crutches, what with the attendant excruciating back ache, shoulder ache and general body ache. That was when I thought that amputation of what is left of the shrunken leg would be the next option. This, I reckon, would enable me to benefit from prosthesis which would make movement much easier for me. Consequently, I got in touch with an India,hospital in Abuja, enquiring about the prospect of a permanent treatment. Primus Special Care Hospital responded and offered me options which would require some surgery. I was also given the bills for the treatment . In sum, I will need about N1,530,000(Which is for surgery and Hospitalization) I am therefore writing to solicit your kind financial support. I am indigent and currently unemployed. My desire is to contribute to the uplift of my country in any capacity possible, but my disability is a major hindrance in this regard. I believe that a medical rehabilitation would help me to pursue, more effectively, a meaningful and productive life. I would also be able to contribute to family and the society at large

Thye put a Ray of hope in the life of our future (the children). They go to rural areas, open a learning center and then allow students to come in to learn. I have nominated them because the learning center Is a great,initiative but it need funds to be run adequately.===nurturemyfuture is an organisation run by a passionate, enegertic and believer of quality education for everyone. The visioneer of this organisation works tiredlessly with other volunteers to ensure that children gets good education and to get as many as possible back to school. Encouraging education through other social activities likes dancing competition et al. This organisation goes through alot to raise funds to get the kids back to school, most of the time the friends and families of the volunteers help out and sometimes it’s difficult to get support. Imagine brilliant minds not reaching their goals and using all their capacities because of lack of funds. If nurturemyfuture is considered alot of kids on the street will go back to school and that will reduce the nuisance value and chaos caused by lack of education, if nurturemyfuture is considered, the resources will be well allocated towards appropriate needs and alot of kids will be educated.===I am nominating NMF for this award because the reach into the rural places to help kids. Places where big institutes won’t get to. The organisation is focused on supporting and funding the needs of children in different slums in not only lagos, but other cities across the nation to receive at least a basic education. The organisation has over 600 pupils in their care, school packs are provided each school year, mosquito nets, free medical services in the various communities, learning hubs have been built in makoko community, and the organisation would be commissioning a Computer Laboratory and E-Library in two adopted schools in Makoko, Lagos State on the 6th of June 2015 (you’re welcome to be a part of it to see what we’re on about-Event Details include: Date: Saturday 6th June 2015. Time: 11am to 3pm prompt. Venue: Makoko School Complex, Yaba, Lagos state). This e-library and computer Laboratory will be very instrumental in the educational development of hundreds of beneficiaries in Makoko and it is also positioned to serve over 3000 children from 18 public primary schools in the state as a computer learning center. Most importantly plans are in top gear to set up a clinic to manage pot-traumatic effect of rape victims.===This is an organization advocating against rape and helping survivors of rape get rehabilitation. The organization is about doing something revoluntionary by creating a mobile application where survivors of rape can report real time rape cases and also speak to caregivers. The organization also engages in school advocacy to teach adolescents sexuality education and grooms boys to be heros against rape. They also help reintegrate young girls who drop-out of school as a result of unwanted pregancy and poverty.===The organization has been helping rape survivors by providing them with psychosocial services at no cost. The organization is currently fundraising to implement some of their projects like the mobile application to report rape===They’ve been impacting the lives of young women who otherwise would have been left neglected and helpless===The organization is dedicated towards ensuring that women and girls are from abuse. They also handle cases of men who get raped. This is an organization that work their talk. This isn’t the only reason I am nominating, I am doing this is to ensure that they have adequate support to implement their projects. The organization has been fundraising for their mobile app project and I am sure your platform will help them achieve their goal.===This is an organization led by a group of young and vibrant Nigeria and are doing awesome work for women, girls and even young boys. The organization is cash-strapped and currently looking for funds for their work, which I think is very important. They even have an ongoing fundraiser on social media to support 500 rape survivors get psychosocial services. I believe if they are able to get this grant, they will be able to implement their mobile app project and also help more of their target audience.===STER is a non governmental organisation dedicated to the full eradication of the rape epidemic in Nigeria as well as to provide all necessary support (legal and otherwise) for survivors. It needs money for its activities.===They are championing the cause of the needy and the abused in our society.

Our aim is to create a good, conducive living atmosphere for the inmates residing in such homes by providing the basic amenities required by the home selected, in the space of six months. How it Works – We randomly select a home for special people. – We visit the selected home and inquire about their needs. – Create awareness about the needs of the home and source for funds/support towards meeting the needs. – Deliver funds/support raised to the home after six months. Two homes are selected every year with each one being adopted for 6 months. We yearn to support, empower and change the living condition of millions of people around the African continent. Our desire to hope and show love irrespective of physical inabilities is our drive but it is your support that will bring this desire to life.
