Connected Edition 109: Limitless Event Review

So February 24 was supposed to be a “beachy” edition. The plan was to go to Lekki Leisure Lake and spend the afternoon there … but then Lagos rains decided to come in all its glory … the weather forecast said it would be all clear by 2pm … so we thought …

The rains didn’t stop … actually it was only drizzling … but going to the beach was no longer an option …

Connected Lagos Edition 105: #CharityGames (+ Launching of #ConnectedDASH 2018)

 

How do you have Charity and Fun in one sentence? Well, here is an idea … and it is a 2-word sentence. Charity Games! We are taking fun selves to go visit a charitable cause, this October. This event will also mark the official launch of Connected DASH for 2018.

Theme: Charity Games
Date: Saturday, October 27th, 2018.
Time: 10am – 2pm
Venue: The Destiny Trust Centre, Brilla FM Street, Off Bola Tinubu Road, Bogije, Ibeju, Lekki
Fee per head: N1,500 for your food and drinks (plus a sizeable donation to the charity) (see below for our target)

Connected DASH 2018 – Call for Nomination

 

To kick off Connected DASH 2018, we plan to visit a Charity / Charitable Cause on October 27,2018.

Nomination Criteria:
– must be a structured, verifiable & functional Charity or Charitable Cause.
– The physical location must be easily accessible (relatively) and in Lagos.
– You must have access to the contact of a staff / organiser at the charity.
– You must be able and willing to attend the event on October 27 should your nominee location be selected as the venue.

Nomination closes on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Finally it is here … The 100th official edition of Connected Lagos …

Yep! Yep!! Yep!!! … We started having one fun event every month back in October 2009. We missed a few months (only 3 months actually) … but then we had a period we had mainland edition and island editions for Connected Lagos … yes !!! … We have been here for a bit.
